ME - After leaving school following a reasonably average, bordering on unsuccessful, 2 years in the 6th form, I joined the RAF. I was lucky enough to get a direct entry as a pilot, yes, obviously it was a time when they were short staffed and very relaxed with the quals required. Anyway, I got my wings and what followed was a turbulent but fun 29 years. The last 20 odd years of the flying career  seems to have been spent in the Middle East fighting other peoples wars, in lands were they don't seem to know the word, "peace".  I have flown quite a few different types during that time, but the best by a long shot was the CanberraPR9,  a high level photo recce machine that was over-powered, quite a handful, (for me anyhow), and awesome fun to throw around when the time allowed.

Medical discharge followed in 2013, after a bike smash, when an errant white van driver took me out unceremoniously, and more so the events that followed that crash........................ So that was that.

My history with custom motorcycles goes way back to my CX500, which led on to the ZZR600, FZR1000, Ducati888, ZX7R, XJR1200, the list goes on and all modified to suit my needs and taste at the time. From WSB reps to sit up and beg track types. Now they are all big project or scratch builds, the details of each can be found on their respective pages.
